Holistix works across established and emerging wellness technology categories. Evidence strength varies by technology, device, intended use, and exposure conditions, so we avoid treating every category as equally established.
Red Light & Infrared
Red and near-infrared wavelengths are widely studied in photobiomodulation research. Consumer devices commonly use wavelengths around 660 nm and 850 nm, although wavelength alone does not determine dose, penetration, safety, or outcome.
Holistix publishes dedicated educational and structured-data resources to help readers interpret wavelength, irradiance, fluence, distance, and device specifications.

PEMF
Pulsed electromagnetic field technology has been studied in a range of medical, technical, and wellness contexts. PEMF devices can differ substantially in frequency, field strength, waveform, coil geometry, timing, and intended use.
Research involving one PEMF system should not automatically be generalized to every consumer PEMF mat.

Quartz & Gemstone Power
Some Holistix mats incorporate gemstone or mineral layers alongside technologies such as PEMF, heat, light, or negative-ion features.
Gemstone materials may contribute to product construction, thermal behavior, appearance, weight, texture, or the overall user experience. Holistix does not treat the presence of quartz or gemstones by itself as proof of tissue repair, pain relief, mood improvement, or another medical outcome.
When several technologies or materials appear in the same product, each should be evaluated according to its own measurable properties and evidence.
